Ktopia / André Boeing is grateful to could have contributed the conference program graphic design for TJD. The intention is, to offer a fresh perspective on the wonderful, rich, and bio diverse continent of Africa, its people, organizations, and relational connections with The Land.

Calls for sustainability often fail when imposed from above, detached from people’s everyday lives. For credibility and impact, actions must be grounded in local realities and respect cultural diversity.

The Jena Declaration (TJD) calls for strategies that put people at the heart of transformation, connecting arts, sciences, and storytelling to shape joyful and satisfying futures.

The TJD Online Conference for Africa 2025 will showcase partners from across the continent who demonstrate how sustainability can be lived authentically and credibly. By sharing tangible stories rooted in Africa’s diversity, the event highlights authenticity and credibility as key conditions for meaningful and lasting sustainable action.

Playful & Intercontinental:
Co-Creating a Food Systems + SDGs Card Game
Games are shared cultural commons that spark joy, inspire creativity, and connect people across borders. As tools for learning and collective imagination, they can drive transformation toward sustainability.

This session presents an Africa–Europe collaboration by André (Europe) and Ibrahim (Africa) to co-develop a Food Systems +SDGs card game through open-source, grassroots practices. Highlighting narrative game worlds, open educational resources, and creative commons, they share practical tools for intercultural collaboration on tiny or zero budgets.
